Bought a brand new laptop.

The vertical line of dead pixel, already fixed thank you MSI

Since I do not want to fight my sibling anymore on who will use the laptop next, I have bought a my own laptop. I just bought it 11 day ago, I was really proud of it because it was the fruit of my freelance jobs. I bought the MSI U270 laptop, it is not a standard laptop but it packs a punch. I have bought the laptop because of the following reasons it is "light and small", "small yet powerful", and "in budget". The only problem is the screen because it was defective, it suddenly have a vertical line of dead pixel. Fortunately for me I brought it brand new so warrant covers it I had it fixed. MSI did a good fast service in repairing the laptop. Always buy brand new in terms of gadget and use your warranty wisely.

Why do I want a light and small laptop? 

Basically I want a light laptop because here in a tropical country a place where you the sun shines bright with a dash of intense heat, carrying heavy objects would certainly make you sweat. Having to carry light objects around would really help lessen perspiration. I also want a small laptop in order to hide it easier. I have a friend who have been given by his parent as a gift a Asus gaming laptop the jet like design laptop. He took one stab in the stomach and gone was his laptop, stolen from him in the cruel street because it stands out. Due to his experience I have chosen the MSI U270 because I value my life yet I need my gadget.

Small yet powerful?

The MSI U270 surprised me when I installed NBA 2k12. I was thinking that it will not work, it will have resolution problem and other reasons cause it is not really built for gaming. However I was wrong, no resolution problem persist, it handled the game pretty well in low settings no lag at all and no signs of overheat on the system. A little Adobe Photoshop or Flash is a piece of cake for the MSI U270 but it was no surprise for me now since it handled NBA 2k12. I also tried it with Modern warfare 3, a more high powered game again is surprised me it handled the game in low setting smoothly. In terms of movie entertainment the MSI U270 has HDMI and it is High Definition if you have a full HDTV MSI U270 is the perfect companion, MSI U270 get things done with no excuses at the maximum of its abilities in high definition.

In terms of Budget?

Since I just want something that would earn me some extra cash by doing freelance. The MSI U270 is cheap enough for those people who is tight in terms of budget yet want to get things done. whatever job a high powered laptop can do the MSI U270 can also do in half the price. The MSI U270 is not like your ordinary laptop or typical netbook it is on a different league.

“SINGING” Poker player

So today is a holiday here in the Philippines my friend invited us to hang out at his place and a little poker in the morning. My friend have it all by having rich parents to provide the goods. My plans was just stay at home watch TV and browse the internet, it was a perfect plan since I was on a losing streak in poker. I declined the offer to hang out, but my friends were persistent to get my money because I was losing 4 Saturdays in a row. Keep on calling and even go to my house, in the end I hang out with my buddies.

So it is poker time and my moral is down cause I have been losing a lot for the last four Saturdays not a single game on those 4 days have been given to me by the poker gods. Then it happened, my luck started to change when they started to feel my strategy change. I started singing songs out of the blue while playing poker from “poker face” by “lady gaga”, “candy shop” by “50 cents”, and so on. I sing whatever comes into my mind.

Singing out of the blue in a poker game is my new arsenal in playing poker adding some animated gestures. It adds more fun in the game especially when you sing a song over and over again that irritates you opponents or makes them laugh just pure fun. Carl one of my buddies suddenly folded when I sing poker face by Lady Gaga and doing the “you can’t see me” hand gesture of John Cena. I think that combination that bluff was pretty effective I might do that again. The Candy Shop was another to do again song especially when you’re already a big stack bully and you are mano-a-mano with a lady. It is one on one battle against Anna. I hold a non suited “King of clubs” and “Jack of spades” the flop and turn were “King of spades”,”7 of diamond”,”9 of hearts”, “Jack of Hearts”. So when the river was played a (“Queen of clubs”) I suddenly sang Candy shop looking at Anna. When you sang this dirty line by 50 cent:

“I’ll take you to the candy shop I’ll let you lick the lollipop Go ‘head girl, don’t you stop Keep going ’til you hit the spot woah!!!”

Now that is dirty and provoking line, instantly and without thinking Anna called “all in” and I called since I am a big stack bully and has good cards in my disposal. So her cards were “King of diamond” and “10 of diamond”, I win goodbye Anna and thank you for the chips. I keep singing that song in every end of the round which made her angrier at me as she watches the game progress. I was playing to win so it should be no hard feelings better avenge it next time. So in the end I won 2 games earning 800 Pesos and an angry woman. My poker slump was finished I am winning again.

Shit happened

Somehow my posts here in this blog was erased. damn it! after all those efforts about ford cars anti theft system with my car. If you want to know about it I hired somebody to break in into my ford lynx cause I forgot my key inside but failed. My sisters mechanics were the real aces when it come to cars they are the successful guys. well I have to start again! so not cool!
